President Bola Tinubu says there’s is no needs to protest
President Bola Tinubu has urged the country’s youth to cancel the planned nationwide protest scheduled for August 1.
After a meeting with the president on Tuesday, July 23, Mohammed Idris, the minister of information and national orientation, spoke to State House correspondents, emphasizing Tinubu’s efforts to address the concerns of young people.
Idris stated that discussions included the state of the nation and that President Tinubu wanted to reassure Nigerians, especially the youth planning to protest, that he is attentive to their voices.
The president takes their concerns seriously and is diligently working to make the country better for both the present and the future. He believes the planned protest is unnecessary and has requested that the youth hold off on their plans, awaiting the government’s response to their demands.
